March 24th 2020
Following the statement from Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Pennycuick Collins would like to advise that we have been preparing for this situation and will be closing the office.
Ensuring that we are doing all we can to support and protect of our team members and their families during these ever-changing times is an absolute priority for us. Therefore, with effect from 5.00pm on Tuesday 24th March our office will be closed for the following three weeks.
We are committed to providing the best possible service during this difficult time and over the last week all of our staff have been set up to work remotely, which we have been testing with successful results and hope it will very much be business as usual with everyone being contactable via their usual email address or direct dial.
To effectively meet the potential challenges posed by this virus, we must all work together and would request you help us in the following ways:
- If you are aware of an infection in your building please alert your Property Manager at Pennycuick Collins immediately.
- We would ask in the first instance queries are submitted by email, as the email account will be monitored daily and we will get back to you at the earliest opportunity. We cannot guarantee such regular monitoring of the postal service;
- Please be patient with our staff, they will try as far as possible to assist you, but should the virus escalate we may be operating with a skeleton staff. We will do our very best to keep customers updated regularly throughout.
- We would also request all service charge payments not to be paid by cheque, but wherever possible make payment by BACS online.It is anticipated that the portal will be going live shortly and further details will be announced shortly.
Whilst our team members are still contactable, potentially some onsite services may be suspended and only urgent repairs will be attended to. If we are unable to arrange for a contractor to attend, we will keep you updated whilst we approach a number of other contractors to discuss availability.
These are unprecedented times and we continue to closely monitor this rapidly changing situation and adapt our procedures accordingly. We would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
