  • Backed into a corner and at our wits-end dealing with the Freeholder (landlord) in order to acquire the freehold on our property, we instructed Samuel Boot at Pennycuick Collins to proceed our behalf.

    At first, we thought we could cut costs and deal with the freehold purchase ourselves. We did our research and armed ourselves with legal information from the Internet and proceeded with an offer.

    Of course our offer was refused, and after a very lengthy process of wrangling back and forth with a greedy and uncooperative landlord, we ended up offering an amount at the top of our budget; the landlord once again refused and told us that our offer was substantially low.

    That’s when Samuel Boot saved the day; to cut a long story short, Samuel acquired our freehold for less money than we personally offered the landlord.

    I can honestly say, hiring Pennycuick Collins will save you a lot of time, frustration, and money.

    Whilst Samuel is very professional, he’s also approachable and nothing is too much trouble. Emails were always replied to instantly and we were kept informed at all times.

    I’d definitely recommend Pennycuick Collins, their fees are very reasonable and will save you money, not to mention preventing landlords from taking advantage.

  • I would like to thank you all for the very professional and personalized nature with which you have managed my property. I was always sceptically as to the value of having a letting agency look after my property. I had many concerned regarding such issues as relationships between tenant and letting agent not to mention the cost of maintaining my property.
